How Much Power will the Transmission Hold

I just got my Evo and within 4000 miles I had to change my clutch. I got an Exedy Twin Disc and that thing is wicked. But the question is the clutch went at 280 WHP and 290 FT/TQ. Now my car is making 340 WHP and 323 FT/QT and I am looking in going up to the 400's. Where is it that the transmission is just going to go.

Will I be ok at 400 WHP and about 390 ft/tq?

The transmission will hold good power, but seeing that you went through a clutch about 60K miles early, I think your driving techniques need to be touched up on before anything else.

There's numerous Evo's running your power level. If you're worried, you should contact a trans shop like Sheptrans. They can beef up the internals to handle ultra-high power levels
