Talking cutting hole in AEM box to make a CAI

Since not a lot of air is getting into the AEM intake box so i got this idea of removing fog light use that hole with a u band plastic pipe and send it to the bottom of AEM intake box. Has anyone done this already? Should i punch a hole in the bottom or sides of the box?

Thanks

sounds like an interesting idea. I would be worried about sucking up water though.

i did, with my stock air box :0
i run the Cobb inlet pipe, HKS drop in filter and the Cold air induction pipe. With my stock air box.
sorry for the crappy pictures.
/pls do not pm me regards for this set up, it is an auto zone $19 pipe and supposedly straight forward install from there, the pipe is secured with zip tie to the LIC piping. We can discuss it in this thread.
Thanks for understanding; Rob/

not really visible if you are not looking for it.

wow thats exactly what i was talking about and that 1 piece grill mesh for the complete fog area looks sick. Did you made your own because i spent 30 bucks on AMS jdm mesh which is only half replacment i want like the one youhave

How can you suck water pipe going vertically up that will be against gravity rule
