My car use to feel like it was misfiring after 5000 RPM. With the factory reflash, it feels a lot smoother. I won't say the car is any faster than before, it just doesn't feel jerky up top anymore. Also, the idle issue seems a LOT better.

Took 2 hours to get mine done (with no appointment and they even washed the car for me in 29 degree weather!).

Thanx for the info,My apt is for 6:00pm w/Apt.The service manager said there open till 8:00pm.

Did they need to test drive your Evo after the reflash? I don't want them driving my car, besides how would they know the before/after difference? See what I mean?

They did do a test drive of the car after the re-flash, but I was there the whole time to make sure they didn't do anything stupid. Simply instruct your service manager that no one is to test drive the vehicle without your permission and that you would like to be present if a test drive is required.

My dealer is supposed to get back to me about it. I've been waiting since Friday and I even called on Monday. Still supposed to get back to me. WTF.

Just wanted to report back on my experience of the reflash. I've had my car for 3 weeks now and have put about 2500 miles on her. I commute 145 miles a day to work and back so I go thru a lot of gas. Before the reflash, I was getting approximately 19.83 to 20.98 miles per gallon (calculated by dividing miles driven by the amount of gallons required to fill up). On my first fill up after the reflash, I got 21.81 miles per gallon. I filled up the car again today and got a pleasant 24.3 miles per gallon, so the ECU reflash definitely helped with gas mileage. Unfortunately, the idle stumble is still there, but it's definitely better than before.
