Opinions on my first mods?

I was thinking about getting an intake (undecided which) and an mbc. I would also have to get some sort of boost gauge also correct? I"m very new to the boosted world and am sure will have a lot of questions. For ex the mbc. It's just a replacement to the stock one and is different in that it allows you to make adjustments to the boost correct?

The MBC and intake are great first mods, probably the best hp/$$ you will find. On our untuned EvoX we picked up 52hp. The MBC is worth about 20-30hp, but the power curve is really choppy, a good intake will clean up the choppy power curve. Check out this thread for dyno results;

And yes, the MBC will bypass the factory boost controller so you can set it where you want. 22psi on 92+ pump seems safe.

Thanks

Another thing you got to think off is how much power do you want to make when it's all said and done and will this be your DD.... If not you'll end up double buying things...

If your on a budget a mbc and a tune is the way to go
