I went back to watch the BM Nov 07 on the launch of the SST and STi ..
And I just re-watched BM Sept 08 .. battle of the AWD ..

And having the opportunity to work with various stages of SST ROMs till now .. all I can say is .. SST is no longer the weakling it started out to be

 

ITS funny how the mitsubishi EVO X with SST was in the 5 grid and came up so fast. Also the BMW M3 with dual clutch tranny cant pass the IS- F until 3 lap. Watch it..

 

That guy in the sl was insane. If it weren't for the rain the bmw & lex would have done much better. You gotta love awd though. It's amazing how the X can hang with cars double it's price. I guess that's what makes it an Evo

 

Thats the point of AWD, Thats why i drive AWD, not RWD.. No matter whether it has the best traction control ESC. RWD cant beat AWD.. in any weather besides dry.
