Ok back looks great. Front looks nasty, like they couldn't decide which performance look to go with so they just threw them all together.

I dunno why the guys always went nuts over the fq series. Especially now with the X being more universal, it's just the same car with more power, and not even that much. 405 break hp? Can't the X guys do that with a tune, mbc, and like a hfc or something??

 

Ahem... sorry to be a party popper but I highly doubt Mitsu is going to produce an Evo with all that junk as an "FQ-400"... those pictures have been online for a while now... even before there was any news regarding an FQ400 model... Here are the pictures of the FQ-320 and 360... a 400 will definitively look nothing like the garbage shown on those pictures.

PS: also somebody else already posted pics from VividRacing's monster Evo and it's got the asme front kit. So no, that is not an FQ400. Stop being so gullible brethrens

No. Both the FQ 360 and 400 have the GSR's 5 speed manual. No Evo X has a 6 speed manual.

 

Just looking at the aerodynamics, the front end gets better downforce and both front and rear brakes get more cooling. The vortex generator at at the rear window that came with the Evo IX is making an appearance on the FQ400. The rear diffuser gets bigger with a different exhaust design. Rear wing looks like just a regular MR version or perhaps slightly larger.

damn, the first time i saw the X i really didnt like it. obviously i am biased but over time it is starting to grow on me, especially in comparison with the new Sti...but wow, that X looks super sexy. that UK only crap sucks...screwed again by the states!
