WTf, and now I ended up with the Grey.... They told me i could take it for 32G otd, including tax, title and reg, now they charged 34g and my mom didnt look and signed the papers so I got screwed on that. No Joke I Specifically Repeated the question 4 times to the salesman, and 3 times to the manager, and asked this is WITH taxes title and reg, and i kept repeating it and they said yes, Meaning you will be financing 28 thousand at 0% after 4,500 down... But my bill is 4,500 down, and Financing 30 thousand meaning they charged 32G than added on the title, reg and taxes, and now they went back on the deal.

Then this is like the 4th day in a row they make up a b/s excuse about why my car isn't ready, yes that's right folks, once again I was all excited, its my bday, and I didn't get the car. NOW they say tomorrow, this is total BS.
So I'm posting here, and every damn evo forum and local craigslist so no one deals with these clowns. So yeah Now I gotta wait yet ANOTHER DAY . Just trust me, go ANYWERE else.
If I prevent these jerks from getting one sale, I feel as if it was worth the write up.

if you havent given them any money, you can walk away, but i think that your mom signed loan and gave them money so that might be impossible at this time

I'm pretty sure that the deal isn't complete until you drive the car off the lot; someone please correct me if I am wrong.

I think this depends on where you live. When the S2000 came out my father put a deposit on it and did all the paper work ( didn't take deliverly ). 3-4 days later he decided he didn't want it. He was able to back out of the deal and get his deposit back.

read this on the MA auto guide

"If the car has not been registered yet, it is simple — you return the vehicle to the seller and get the amount of refund provided under the law, or an amount you agree to. If there is a previous title and it has already been signed over to you, you will have to return the title to the seller with a notarized statement including the date, the vehicle year, make, model, identification number, mileage, names and addresses of the buyer and seller, and an explanation that the purchase has been canceled. You should also contact the lender immediately to stop any loan that is being processed.

Once the car has been registered, its return is more complicated. If it is a new car and the deal is being canceled within a few days of purchase, you can withdraw the application for title by calling the Title Division of the Registry of Motor Vehicles at 617-351-9000.

For used cars, or new cars that are returned after more time has elapsed, you can speed up the process of getting the new title by calling the Registry at the number above. Once the new title is sent to you (or the lender), you sign it over to the seller. If you have obtained a loan to pay for the car, contact the lender to coordinate the exchange of title and the pay-off.

Do not forget to cancel the insurance. If you plan to purchase another car right away, you can leave the registration in effect and transfer it to the next car. If there is going to be a delay, or if someone else wants to buy and register the car you have returned, you should cancel the registration at the local Registry office."

Good Luck

ohh - and try not to get caught up in the excitement of a new car! a lesson i learned when i got my first car....all i did after the test drive is dream about it and had to have it! and i paid for it....

when i got the my new X i told myself i didnt care whether i wanted it or not - if i didnt get the deal i wanted i'd just walk away and look at it as if i was saving 400/month - dont get too attached! and make sure you get everything you want (i.e. color) b/c you'll prob. be living w/ it for the next 5 years or so

nice congrats!

But definitively, we all go through the same thing when buying our first new car; Exitement, and when the salesman sees your face all he (most of the times a dude lol) think is "we'll nail this one for sure"

You could've walked out of it though with enough information and a lawyer (though your mom signatures assumes she's read everything prior signing); but they love exploiting the heck out of people who sometimes don't know or have short information on how the laws work.

but above all, enjoy ur car man! what the heck, its just a couple grands!
