I've found that some dealers have sky rocketed their EVO X prices, its crazy 40k for a GSR? Uh no thanks...This may force me to get an STI - they are advertising them for 31 + 0% for 63 months.

My local dealer is trying to charge $2,500 over sticker on 08 X's. I basically the dude he was nuts and that $1-2K under invoice is the standard about now and he tried to tell me the only dealers doing that were the ones who are going out of business. Hah. (this is in Pittsburgh PA BTW)

You should have said: " i guess you are willing to go under as well if you you can't sell any cars"

Haha his response to it was "Well good luck getting that" so I said "Thanks, good luck selling those four evo's on your lot for a $2,500 markup".

That is funny. A dealer in MD told me some crap like the only evos around are on this lot (and I did not like the red one).. I told him I will give him a list of dealerships that have them, so i started naming them.. then I told him to look on cars.com, which I ended up doing for him because it seemed like he had never used it.... Fastforward, I called a dealer on the phone, from Delaware, infront of him, who had the car I wanted and left smiling...

Fresno Mitsubishi has two RR X's with SSS. They are selling them at near cost ($31,900 + TTL) and you can get 0% for 60 months with that price. That's about $1500 below invoice. The salesman (very nice guy, actually) told me that sales have been abyssmal and that they're just trying to clear out their existing inventory however they can. They also have two MR's and a GSR base (octane blue) that one could really get a screaming deal on.

In this economy most dealers should feel lucky to sell the car for any where near sticker price.

hahaha at Fresno Mitsubishi. When they first got the X's, they acted like it was god's gift to the motoring public. I predict they will be going out of business.
