Choices...

Well, what do I drive today? I wished I could drive the EVO but the wife has the keys! Dang gunit! She finally got a super duper job so i got an STI. Just couldn't get another evo. Didn't want a 8 or 9 for reason that I had one. Oh well, it is a joy to go in the garage again!

Lucky Lucky man! is the EVO an MR or GSR? BBS Package on the STi correct? did you get the 63 month 0% financing on it? I was offered a STi for 29995 at 0% for 63 turned it down for my Evo.

Definitely a nice problem to have. I haven't had the opportunity to drive the new STi yet...how do they compare in your opinion?

You are a LUCKy MAN to have 2 awesome high-performance cars in your garage. I live with my family and we have a '07 maxima, a 06' Sienna, a 08' RX 350, and a Evo IX MR. All the cars are very boring, except for the Evo ofcourse. hahaha

It is a GSR. To compare the two would be an easy challenge since I have an Esprit also. Actually, the economy hit my company hard so I had to change to I guess more reliable low cost maintenance cars. I sold my carrera in June. So for a brief critique of the two having owned some great cars in my life, I can make a judgement of both.

The STI to me is simular to a BMW in handling except for the fact the rear has an uncontolable bounce that the evox seems to not have at all. Same roads driven of course. The EVOX feels like a well, no comparing because it is what it is, great in all aspects. However, on long drives, the STI will suit me fine since that will be the family car. No minivans in this household.

The power of the evoX is more by far and the excitement factor more in the EVO. Even though the STI has more on paper, I still don't get a rush in the STI like in the EVOX.

The feeling of a safe cacoon is definitely the STI because I get a sense that it is a better made car. But that of course could be far from the truth.

Space is definitely more in the STI since the strollers and such can all fit in the back. You're gonna like this one. My carrera flat six sounded like a monster but the sti compared to the EVOX in my wifes sound effects:

EVOX.....SHzzzzzzzzzzzzzzshhhhhhzzzzzzzzzzhhhhssss shhhhhhhzzzzz
STI...... put put put put put

Hope you guys like that one. In the end of it all, which is better?

Can't really say and that is why I boutght both of them! Now that she has a job, I hope she buys me some mods!

Nice rides. I threw around the idea of getting another STi because I like the look. But I think the X is more the car for me. Maybe later this year I will sell my IX and get one.
