I can't stop beating up my car

It's the dash rattle.

I know it's been brought up before. Maybe it's the weather, but it's driving me nuts.

Every time I'm on the highway, every few minutes I start wacking the crap out of the dashboard. If anyone's looking, it must look like I'm killing roaches.

Works for a minute or two then starts up again. Then I slam, wack and beat some more. Get pretty sore by the time I get home.

Which rattle is it?

The only rattle I had at highway speeds was this REALLY annoying clicking one, which I found out was between the windshield and the driver's dash (where the VIN is located).

I stuffed a sh** load of rubber in there, never heard it since.

But now since I've dropped my car I've been hearing more rattles than ever...coming from every part of the interior.

Really would appreciate it if Mitsu used quality plastic (soft plastic as most cars in this price range use) which have less rattles. Oh well. "Sports car" is what I keep telling myself.

Sounds more like you're beating off your car. Maybe the car is only doing it now because it likes the attention.

It's **** like this and the rock chips on the rear doors that make me re-think buying this car....In my mind, you pay $39k CAD you should have sideskirts and 3M bra included with the car to avoid the chips, and the plastic should be comparative to that of a Scoobaru, not a ****in honda fit (which I gather actually has a nice interior).

Speaking of beating off I haven't fapped in a few days....so I'm off to the AMS Track Evo thread. EZZZ

^^Word!! I have a full un-resinated(sp) exhaust, so I have to do both, lol. And god forbid there's a pop can or a coin in the cup holder.

I don't have the rattles yet, but everytime i click the downshift paddle it makes this tinging sound..... not sure what's making it make that sounds since it is solidly in place (like the upshift paddle, which doesn't make the sound)?... also, if i hold it lower down the paddle then it doesn't make the noise. Not really a big deal i know, but a little annoying.........
