Yeap -- I had Alcon brakes on my previous Audi that ran about 3K. And those were just the FRONTS!

Exactly look at me! I got roughly 365bhp just from a tune from TTP!

Stock:
260whp/291bhp(claimed) = 0.8934
Tuned:
326whp/0.8934 = 365bhp

I'm sure that's a conservative tune as well because there is no reason to go crazy with no other mods yet.

OK, for every body and myself, I wrote a letter to the UK Mitsu parts rep about ordering/getting some FQ body parts in the U.S. (ie, bumpers, hood, ect.)

Here's the response I recieved.

Hi Jeremy

It would appear there will be problems suppling and shipping the bumpers as mitsubishi are being very protective about the part numbers and cost ( doesn't make sense to me but they don't want a lot of 400 look a likes) I'm still working on getting the price but guy i need to speak to is away until Monday.

I'll contact you when I can get some details

kind regards

Carl

But yeah, 400 ponnies is easily achievable down here in the US..
Agreed. A little too over the top on the cosmetics and the hp gains are not worth the cost...even if they do come with a warranty.

Well good. Looks like they are trying to protect the car and its owners. Should help keep the car's value up.

Update on body parts for the 400

This is from the head parts distributer for the UK......

Prices as required

FRONT BUMPER ASSY (UN-PAINTED) - £1,626.85
REAR BUMPER ASSY (UN-PAINTED) - £1,726.06
FRONT FOG LAMP HOLDERS - £108.90

As exhaust is intergrated with rear bumper this would be required as well

EXHAUST KIT - £2,871.88

Grand Total of £6,333.69 plus P&P

Not sure about availablity, if the price has not scared you off. At the moment all production is going into new supply vehicles.

I didn't ask bout the side skirts for some reason. Figure there over a grand too. I did tell him that I wanted the whole front bumper assembly, and what ever he could do would be highly appreciated. So, we'll see.
