Those things have to be loud. I remember I hated driving my car because of the noise that the tires made. When I got the new ones on it was like driving a caddy.

i have 108 miles on mine

those who have had the stock tires for a long time, any of you drive in snow with them? how do they handle? anyone think I could make it through a boston winter with them? Assuming I drive careful and keep the car on the snow setting. I'd like to just ride the stock ones as long as possible and then just switch to some high end all seasons when they are worn out.

extreme summer tires are a "no, no" for winter or if temperatures fall to 36 degrees. Most crashes of evo's are because of improper tires for the condition. get a set for winter or sell the stock advans and get an all season.

^ sorry to highjack the thread a little, but how much do the stock advans go for if I was to sell them now with 100 miles on them? vs selling them just before winter (in 4 months with maybe 4k miles)

Yes these tires are no match for snow trust me i got stuck a couple of times. These tires suck in snow which is why they are summer tires. If you use these tire for winter you will probably wreck your car.

And used but like new tires if you were to sell on the fourms, u would get right around $500, for them plus shipping. I bought some used tires with 1,900 miles for about $500 shipped.
