There is a car at a local car dealer and I cannot tell if this is a good deal or not. It’s a 2008 5 speed with an aftermarket cat back exhaust, autometer boost gauge, 20” rims and short ram air intake. There is NO navigation and it has the cloth seats. There are 22,000 miles on the car.

The dealer wants $25,500 not including tax title or license. I want a white Evo and they seem very hard to find.

Help!!!!! Is this a good deal??? If not, Where can I find a good deal on a white 5 speed???

Also, I'd be wary when they claim a 10yr/100k warranty. This is untrue. Plus, it's been modded.

You can't find any white GSRs still on dealership lots ? They need to move them, so I would try there first.

 

Yeah the yellow is really ugly, but the dealer will remove the tint they said. I would put the mods on myself anyways, so I would actually be saving money here.

Do you have any recomendatins for dealerships? I couldnt image anyone even comming clode to that price. But thats why I am asking the forums opinion!

 

don't buy it

 

there are a few things that are listed that raise red flags

• trim is not carbon fiber
• color is not igloo white
• gsr does not have leather in it
• warranty is not 10/100 unless there is some special additional one purchased (http://www.mitsubishicars.com/MMNA/j...us#warrantyTab) but that wouldn't be through mitsu.

i got my gsr /w aero for 30k, so your looking at $4500 less than a brand new one one and it has 22k miles and minor upgrades. I would lean towards a brand new one since the price isn't that much more and (hopfully) you can get 0% financing that would come close to off setting the $4500 differeance.

25,500 @ 4.9% would be $3,366 in interest ($28,866), if you add in tt&l it will be even more.

What is the aero?

 

I just called a Mitsubishi dealer and they said they are all sold out of the white cars, so that is not even an option to buy a new white one, and thats the color I want...

 

Good luck finding a WW EVO X within 300 miles of WI. Luckily, I found mines down in IL, 2 hours away. The dealer just put it up on Autotrader and I had a check in his hand the next day. It's a GSR, with the SSS package. No Aero kit or Navi, but I didn't need them anyways. $28k, with only 5k miles on the car.

22k miles is a lot of miles, but at that price with mods I would probably jump on it too. I already put 5k miles within 3 months on my car.

 

aero is the "ground effects kit"
I went to 3 different mitsu dealers before i found the one that would work with me on the price.
shipping a car is ~$700 so if there arn't any in your area find a different dealer on have it shipped
