Tip-out very hard: is it normal?

Hello guys, is it normal that tip-outs (from WOT to cut-off) are so hard?

When I quickly release the gas pedal from WOT, the cut-off is really really hard and sharp.
For sure I like it (I don't like car with too smooth driveability, especially sport cars), but I can feel that it is a big punch for all the tranny: it almost "bounce" back (especially with low gears obviously with 4-5th gears it's less noticeable); so do you think this can affect tranny reliability? Also your EVOs are so hard in tip-out?
Thank you, bye.
Stefano from Italy.

Get a stiffer motor mounts and I think that should pevent the engine and transmission from "bouncing" around. The car will still drastically pull back but not with all the clanking and rocking from the engine and transmission.

Yes, I agree.
So do you think it's normal, all EVOs have this hard tip-out?

Mine does this as well. I assume it's normal for a car like this. I have learned to just ease out of the gas a little bit slower and it helps.

It's the light flywheel/rotating assembly. coupled with a heavy awd axle and gear mass acting against it.

My shifts jolts very by day, sometimes I get out of the bed on the wrong side and I try to do seamless shifts in the X, makes for a very bad day! Not to mention the tiny turbo looses it's spool and the correct shift timing is of the essence!
