Cracked front spoiler/dam-repair or replace?

Hit a f***ing giant parking block and cracked the front spoiler/dam. Contemplating repairing or replacing with something else. Was thinking about this from rex or ?? I have the aero kit if that matters. its $500+ to repair. I wonder if I could install it myself. Thoughts, comments welcome.

The carnage

Solution?

definitely should not be 500 to repair, maybe 500 to replace... but thats something any good body shop could bondo and repaint, shouldnt be more then $250 to repair that.

I like the carbon lip, been thinking about getting one myself. I think if I curbed my front lip it would be time to call Rexpeed.

F Bondo and repaint. That's a pretty ghetto solution. It's cracked - what are they going to do with Bondo? "Glue" it back together? Even if they use actual epoxy made for that (my friend works in a body shop, I've seen it done) and then try to fix it, it's pretty thin plastic and it's just going to end up flexing, cracking, and looking like crap again.

I'd just replace it, or get a CF one.

Easy to replace it yourself. Either OEM of the carbon piece from Rexpeed would be nice. Order the part from RussellM on here. Send him a PM. He's got awesome pricing on OEM pieces.

I think some people go and hit something just to get new parts for the car. Is that true?
