I took delivery of an 08 EVO GSR, Silver. I'm very happy with it. I previously had an '04 STi that I had modded to the tune of $10k. It was stolen in 2006. I've been turboless for 3 years! But now I'm whole again.

You'd think if someone buys a new EVO that your evolutionm.net privleges would be granted or something.

Besides my racecar, this is the best handling car I have ever owned. I took my first cloverleaf at over 60mph!

In the first 10 minutes of ownership I got a rock chip on the airdam. A really bad one. I guess that means I can take it on the gravel road to my shop where a nice banked chicane exists.

I merged your posts in this thread and deleted the WTB part. The 50 requirement isn't meant to be met by postwhoring, its to protect our members. You have to be reg'd a month anyway to get access to the FS forums, so there's no hurry, you can hit 50 easy in that time.

Welcome to the site.

The rules don't specify how the 50 post are to be met, just that you have 50. I don't usually post very much on any forum. Usually only when I'm looking for a part. I'm not sure what posthoaring is, but if I have to sell my body in order to find parts, it's my body.

When I read the 'Automobile' article, "What would Jason Do", I thought I may have made a mistake. They made the BMW 335xi sound like butter. Then I noticed it's at least 15k more.

I test drove a Z06 and was blown away by the performance. But, remembered that I don't have $70,000 and need to get to work in the snow.

Congratulations. I became an owner not long before you on June 19th. I have owned numerous performance cars. Mustang GT's, Mercedes C32 and E55, and a modified 1986 911 with 500 hp. I am 62 and last year settled down with a practical Honda Accord. I couldn't take it. I've dreamt of an EVO for years and my wife and I went to just "look at an MR" a few weeks ago. It was a fully loaded graphite gray with the aero package. I love the car. I plan to upgrade to JL audio components and when enough time passes and there's some history as to just what the MR can safely take, I will do some mods. For now I'm just enjoying the posts and learning.
