Seibon Carbon Fiber has arrived!

In preparation for the up-coming KDW Challenge WORKS partnered up with Seibon to give our EVO X a new look. We took delivery of the parts yesterday and quickly got them onto the X. We haven't done an official weigh-in yet but we estimate around 300-400 lbs in weight savings using Seibon Carbon Fiber front and rear doors, rear wing, hood, front lip and +10mm wide front fenders. It doesn't look too shabby either. We should also give a big nod to Autopower who hooked us up with a custom bolt-in roll cage and rushed it out so that we could get it installed before heading to Vegas.

Let us know what you think.

is your carbon hood dry carbon? i weighed the aluminum hood and the wet carbon hood, and the alumimum hood is actually lighter...only a pound lighter, but lighter nonetheless.

I can see weight savings in the doors but the stock aluminum hood and fenders are already pretty light.

The Doors are definitely where the weight savings comes in. OEM doors are extemely heavy. The fenders and hood are probably no gain vs the aluminum pieces but we get the extra fender width and the hood completes the look. Since we are heading to a national ad campaign looks certainly plays a part. I believe all the parts are wet carbon.

Why wasn't there more advertising done for the "KDW Challenge"? You car looks awesome, but do you have any more info on this event? The website you posted doesn't have much info (that I could find).

Thanks

While Pete was flashing my car, I took a few pics!! Phone Quality! I didnt take pics of Spoon Sports JDM CTR and Accord(TSX)

I was told that the Element had a NSX motor with Twin Turbos producing 550hp!!
