im having a problem with fitting the piece is not fitting over the connector all the way I have a small gap is that normal... see pics

figured it out just have to move the tubing that attaches to it really tight fit

 

I'm having trouble figuring out what "piece" isn't going over what "connector." I've done this install, so I can help, but I can't determine what you're referring to.
