International pricing?

Why the **** does an Evo X start at $66,204 dollars in Germany? I'm trying to find a sporty sedan for my Mom, but holy crap batman! Guess it's the Lancer Sportback for her!

That's because in other countries, you get taxed up the (import taxes)..

The cheapest place to buy an EVO is in the US.

That is the reason because I got a USDM Evo X here in Italy... even considering shipping, re-homologation under Euro laws (done in Germany, then passed to Italy; it wasn't possible to do that directly in Italy), etc I saved 10k € = 14k USD...
In fact here in Italy a stock Evo X GSR costs 47k € = 67k USD...

Its US$ 90,200 for the MR in Malaysia, and US$111,570 in Singapore

GSR is US$94,000 in Singapore, Mitsubishi Malaysia doesnt offer the GSR afaik, u have to get it imported if you want one

There is no way anyone is paying this for an evo in those countries... Mitsu needs to stop being stuck-up and self reighteous. Mercedes, BMW, Jaguar, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche; none of these car manufacturers prices differ by as much as the evo's does from country to country, so what the hell gives mitsu the right or justification?

*EDIT*- I'm shipping my evo to singapore and selling it to a private seller for like 75,000USD tomorrow.

Unfortunately here its the bloody Government who impose extortionate import duties. Cars are all more expensive here, not just Mitsubishis. In Singapore:-

M3 Cab DCT - US$ 280,000
Porsche 911 (997) Turbo US$ 445,000
Merc SL350 $262,000
Audi R8 - $345,000

Malaysia is not far behind too
