Am I correct in thinking that the launch control on the MR only works when the car is up to normal running temp.

In reality how much strain does it put on the transmission.

Did my fist Solo 2 in the EVO yesterday, FTD by 1.75 seconds

 

idk bout the launch control on the mr, but I would always rec that you warm your car up to operating temp before racing the motor like that, and launching from a dead stop does put a lot of stress on the tranny, knowing how to do it correctly will keep the tranny together longer
