Chrysler was bought by fiat, more than likely the cause here... The further Mitsubishi can get away from Chrysler the happier I'll be =)

I think the article is saying that Chrysler bought out the alliance and the engine manufacturing plant. No where does it say that the 4b11t will be discontinued. Mitsu can still build the engine, just not in that plan, unless they have some agreement and contract Chrysler to build the engine for them.

It only means "Chrysler" is done with Mitsubishi, or it should be the other way around... Mitsu is done with crappy Chrysler thankfully

Nothing to do with the 4B11T; The Mitsubishi 4B1 engine is built in Japan by Mitsubishi's World Engine in Shiga, under the international GEMA collaboration stuff
