im not looking for an improvement in power, but i would like to know if anyone has used any of Sun's stuff in their x's. im looking at the hyper voltage gt w/ grounding cables, the hyper inazma pocket and the fuel tank floater thingee. i wonder if these would be worth it, if they'd really improve my fuel mileage to a noticeable degree, the reduced audio feedback would be nice too.

i've used the hyperground and hypervoltage before...got no real proof it did anything though. i'm sure it does improve the efficiency of the electricals, but never had enough draw to find out if it actually has any real impact.

it might be useful for other things.. I honestly don't know how much fuel it would save you. If you want to save fuel and you are still stock the best mods are:

1. A good free flowing TBE exhaust
2. A nice drop in filter
3. An UICP << maybe more for power, but anything that flows better will help MPG.
4. A good oil like AMSoil ( I use SS 0W-30 )
5. A good tune from a GOOD tuner, do some research to find one that would suit you. I went with Mellon and am very happy with it.
6. Your foot!

All of these will help your fuel when you drive the car easy, and will give you all the power you would likely want.

it is a better overall oil IMO yes and there are tests to back it up... will it help dramatically with fuel? I don't think so... if you can work with your tuner, you could look into what HiBoost is doing and increase timing in the lower load percentages. He claims and a few others as well to have gotten 30 mpg or so on the highway.

I remember an article in Car Audio mag. that they installed on a bone stock Volvo. They did dyno before and after and they claimed in actually made a difference of a couple hp. I cannot remember if the claimed better fuel economy.
In principal it should help.... however this the real life, so only one way to find out. Test it out.
I would be interested to know
