Boost Gauge Question

I installed a mechanical boost gauge last weekend and I noticed that I am boosting around 10 to 11lbs. But it actually feels like it is more. (at least on the butt dyno)
I have a the perrin MBC installed and have it turned so about four rings are showing. But my question is I teed off the vac line that goes from the intake manifold to the diverter valve for the boost gauge. Is it possible that is why I am only seeing 10 lbs of boost? Should I have it teed into a different vac line? I guess it is possible I may have a boost leak but everything seems to be tight.
Any ideas would be helpful

try taking off the MBC and read the line in stock form. Your car should push up to 23 psi on WOT. If it still reads 10 psi and less then your gauge might be busted.
