I thought I was going to cry the when I curbed my BBSs. I was trying to be extremely careful and it still happened.

here is an article about the repair process and it has a few shops on the east coast that do rim repair. http://www.extremehowto.com/xh/artic...ticle_id=60281

I took a rim that i bent to the ye ole rim shop in baltimore and they did a good job.

Not trying to be mean, but it sounds like you need to learn how to drive. Were you drinking when you curbed the wheel? Or just being inattentive.

/\ **** happens... sometimes you just get distracted and have to pay for it, driving skill has little to do with most curb wheel damage, just lack of paying attention to what your doing with the car.

Yeah I seen someone on here or the evoxforums who was selling tires and BBS MR rims for dirt cheap. He did say there was one tiny little scratch on one of them but I could not see it from his pictures even though it was a close up. Search man...search. Hopefully they are still for sale.

Wow $85 is really good... I was quoted $150-250 to fix my BBS rims around here in CA. I passed on that...

Thus why I said were you inattentive. I know things happen but really if you take in consideration the lower profile tire and enough care for the car, things like this don't happen. Yes, driving skill/experience has a factor in a situation like this. Gauging distance, estimating turning radius, manipulating gas input, etc...how does this not take driving skill? As far as I see it parking a car or even riding along side a curb, you're still driving the car.
