Wow that really sucks. I hope you get a replacement. I've been totally happy with my catback and I'm sure if yours was in better shape you'd be too!!

The chip in the tip is a pretty lame thing to cry about. The bend sucks though.

I have a full Perrin exhaust and mine was flawless.

I just want to chime in and mention that I have a Perrin cat-back that I am 100% satisfied with.

I agree that the bend in the picture looks bad (should've been a reject part), but in all fairness, it's a 90-bend with a short length of runout on the exhaust tip end.

It sounds to me like Perrin is going to take care of the problem so far as we know at this point.

Just keep in mind that everyone doesn't need to jump on the hater bandwagon because of one case of poor quality control.

You can easily point out quality flaws all over our cars (or all cars for that matter) and the majority don't standaround complaining about them.

Just to reiterate: the quality, workmanship, fit, and performance of my Perrin cat-back is everything I expected and more...AND the price is pretty good, in my opinion, compared to a lot of stuff pushing $1k out there.

Cheers!

I agree with wildride. I've got the same exhaust in black and paid a good deal less via fred beans parts. However it is that my example may've had the same type of bending done to it, and masked with the black paint, I couldn't be more pleased with it thus far and have never regretted the purchase whatsoever.
In any event, I hope this matter for you is resolved without incident.
