Evo Vs. Garage Door

Wrong thread, mods please move, this isnt supposed to be a how-to jack up your evo.

Well I must start by saying I am having a wonderful day, and It just got a whole lot better.

I opened my garage door to back out, and after checking my rear view mirror to make sure I had clearance, I began to back out.
Well apparently Mr. Garage door decided he didnt want to stay open and began to come back down.
The door caught my wing and pulled it foward, creasing the trunk, and bending to hit the side quater panels.
Damaged parts:
Wing - took the blunt impact quite well if you ask me, bent the trunk
Trunk- doesnt close correctly, looks like a potato chip on the sides
Side panels creased at top
Garage door- bent the steel guide that opens the door, snapped a wood beam enforcing the garage.
I estimate all parts need full replacement, damage is not repairable

Lesson for all of you to learn from my ****ty experience:
Garage door Vs. Evo, Garage door wins.

Forgive my rudeness but: if your going to try and tell me I dont know how to drive, dont even open your mouth, I'm not in the mood, I have a clean driving record, no tickets, no accidents. The garage door is 100% Liable for this accident.

Yeah I wish the wing wasnt so strong, it wouldnt have caused so much damage. I'm just glad it didnt come down later, replacing my roof would not have been fun.
