2010 MR Touring Front End Different?

My car has been in the shop getting some Stage 2 power mods and some exterior tweaks. I have WW 2010 MR Touring. One of the pieces I was adding was a Do-luck carbon front lip. I'm on my second Do-luck lip and there are still significant fitment issues, however the vendor pre-tested on an 08 GSR and the lip fit perfectly. I'm wondering if there is a slight difference in the front end of the 2010 MR Touring that could cause this. Looking at pictures it is hard to tell as they look the same, but based on the Do-luck lip it seems there is a minor difference. Anyone know for sure?

I don't believe there are any differences. Do you have the aero package?

should be exactly the same... the only thing that won't fit are vortex generators! Waiting for Derek at rexspeed to get one out for our sunroofed cars!

No Aero package. I would think they are the same, but the Do-luck lip, which fit perfectly on an 08 is not fitting on the 2010 MR. The fitment issues make it seem like the 2010 has about a centimeter difference somehwere. Almost like it is slightly longer in front.

very unlikely, if so that would also mean that mitsu had to redesign the aero kit? i highly doubt it as you can see 2010 with the same aero kit.

That's what I was thinking, but I can't explain the fitment issue I'm having and don't know of anyone with an aftermarket lip on their 2010 MR Touring. It would be a very slight difference, but enough to prevent a rigid CF piece from mounting properly.

Aside from the side skirts, I'm 99.9% sure that there's no change between '08 and '10.

Not entirely related but I noticed that made a small change to the Ralliart's front end chrome from '09 to '10: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/7770543-post125.html

Wouldn't be surprised if other cars had some minor changes like this as well.

Well, some measurements are being taken so I should know by tomorrow. I think something is slightly different, but with CF there is no room for slightly different.

Any way to change the typo in the thread title?

Tried that , but it only seemed to change the title for thread when it is open. In the main thread listing, the typo still shows up.

Wow - that's crazy!
I wonder why they would do that unless they were having fit issues/manufacturing within tolerance and this serves as a strain relief/adjustment point?!
Very weird!
