i have a evo 9 and also a jetta gli with the dsg transmisions , in posting this because a whant to share , some isue i have with my dsg transmision i do not know if this in some matter concern to the evo x mr owners but in case take a look .

a week before my jetta start with some freacking noise like a clutch bearing without grease and the sudenly the sound disapear , 2 days later my wife told me that sound start again and at this moment is permanent when the car is hot it start low db and the is quite high db .

yesterday a lift the car with the noise and start searching the source of the sound and i found that dsg transmisions is the source , so i start searching on vw forums and found that this type of gearbox have a lot of issues in the volks group, at this time volkswagen have to upgrade the warranty for the dsg to 100.000 miles because all the issues they have.
