$600 to blow

Hey guys,
I'm new to these forums.
Well, over christmas i acquired $2500 for the car. Spent about 1900 so far,
TBE, Intake.
I have $600 left and was deciding between IC Piping, Swift Springs, or something else.
Main thing here is power, no handling suggestions please.
Exterior appliances come in a close 2nd.
Thanks for any info

You spent 1900 on a TBE and intake? If you're around a e85 pump, I would spend the rest on bigger injectors and a e85 tune.

A tune for sure. My car was knocking like crazy with a tbe, fmic, upper and lower pipes and an intake.

Accessport maybe? that way you can keep adjusting the maps yourself as you add more mods rather than continually going back to your tuner.

I'm also pondering how you spend 1900 on an intake and a TBE.

I found the UICP to add a level of responsiveness to the throttle that was nice. However, for actual power creation, a tune will be better than any bolt on.

I'd go with a pro tune, or add 100 dollars and buy an AP.

Maybe he likes nice stuff. Have you looked at AMS' prices? My Specialty-X exhaust alone was more than that.

I definitely agree with the tune. E85 is a killer upgrade but it requires parts and a tune, so out of your budget right now.

E-85?

Great mod, but out of his range right now

Injectors $500
Pump $250
Tune $300

Plus you will need a cable and laptop or you will never be able to go on a road trip. Unless you map every E-85 gas station on the trip every 180 miles or so.

$1900 is not terrible. JDM anything and the price explodes.

$600? Get a nice hotel room, install a couple video cameras and get a nice hooker. Memories for life!

I was going to say hooker too, but the cost of a hotel room reduces the budget to "im gonna get crabs" level.

You could probably find a used AP for 650ish if you look around. Like everyone else is saying a tune for this car is a must, its more cost effective than any other mod available.
