WTH is this?

Im just looking around when I open it it is just hanging around there. There is a sticky at the back so it should be sticking on something. Is it a black box? Check yours if you have this too.

Post up the barcode or any other markings on it. Possibly a GPS locator, or some form of an alarm system. Better hurry before the assassins track you down.

You're missing a pedal.

Zing! Zing zing zing.

I'd guess some sort of Lojack thing, but I have no clue.

That's not a very discreet and secret place for a lo-jack transmitter!!!

lol. I think it's time to move the location of that gizmo. Is it connected to anything? I would hide it behind the headunit or in the dash somewhere.

Whoever installed your security/command start/gps put it there. its probably loose so you could access your fusebox. It could have been mounted better obviously. Part of my compustar is located there. My gps/sim card is located underneath the aftermarket deck behind my dashkit.

Just remove the fusebox door and then 3 screws on the panel that surrounds your knee airbag and fuse box door, then pull it off. Get a couple ty-raps and mount it in the air loosely so its not too tight but you can easily move it around to access your fusebox but the module isn't really rubbing against anything (so its not hard to access the fusebox again). Mine is kind of floating in front of the fusebox but easily movable and not touching anything so it doesn't vibrate.

It probably runs to an antenna located on the upper right portion of your windshield. Its probably also tied into the fusebox (im trying to go by memory). So you may not be able to move it too far (center of dash) because of wiring.
