Thanks for the compliments.

As for the Static Electricity thing. I think I accidentally stumbled upon a solution!!!

So I'm browsing the AutoArt website to check out what they have as far as new scale models(big fan of them, great quality) and what do they have listed on the front page?

STATIC ELECTRIC STOP SHOCK

Want to avoid those annoying shocks of static electricity on a dry day when getting in and out your automobile ? Our Static Electric Stop Shock is fitted with a filament discharger that will aborsb such shocks encountered when entering or exiting your vehicle. Hold the main body of the unit, while allowing the tip to touch the metal object first. The filament should glow to indicate that the static electricity is being discharged. The device is made of brass chrome-plated. Shock-free day is a reality with our Static Electic Stop Shock.

Just ordered one. Will update when received as to if it works or not.
What a coincedence.

Great review! I too, went from a IX MR to a X GSR SSS and I agree with most of what you said. Fortunately, I'm not having any static problems. I've had it on prior cars, and usually what fixes it, is a bottle of fabric softener spray, and lightly spray the floormats/seats.

We have a 2010 GSR purchased in November and I agree with all your observations. I would say though that the transmission is a bit clunky and not quite as smooth as I would like but, other than that ? An absolutely awesome car for the money !!

I found that if you let your car warm up fully there is less notchiness. Also, make it a habit of pressing your clutch ALL THE WAY down until your peddle can't go down any further. A couple of millimeters before and you'll get that notchiness also.

Nice to see my twin... lol I bought a 2010 WW GSR with SSS the first week of Jan. Pretty much feel the same... My two biggest things with the car are the trunk being so small and the final drive.

Nice review. I have an 08 but it makes me want to buy it again. Totally agree with the turn signal. Nothing like having such an awesome car and looking like an idiot driving around with the turn signal on. :P

I little clip I shot yesterday on my phone for those who aren't aware of the alternate turn signal tone. It is a little louder than the default one.

I have an 08 x GSR and i feel hesitation on the highway when i step on the throttle slightly. Do you feel any of that in the 2010. My transmission is also really nothcy exp 1 to 2 and 2 to 3rd. How does the 2010 feel? I would really like to know. Thanks.

Haven't felt any hesitation. No notchiness either if you are pressing the clutch ALL the way down. I actually love the 5speed on the X. It feels very crisp and direct and even makes a nice "knock" sound when it engages.
