Developed in partnership with Mitsubishi Australia, the TMR Bathurst Edition is offered with Mitsubishi’s standard 10 year powertrain warranty and five year new vehicle warranty.
Delivering 247kW and 436Nm of torque - up from the regular model’s 217kW and 366Nm - the TMR Bathurst Edition is the most powerful road-legal ‘Evo X’ to be offered in Australia. The Bathurst edition is available with either the standard 5-speed manual or the quick-shifting TC-SST twin-clutch automatic.
Available from any Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution specialist dealer, the TMR Bathurst Edition Evolution benefits from a number of TMR Australia tweaks, including an engine upgrade, TMR exhaust and TMR progressive rate springs package.
The upgrades themselves are mild, with the engine being mechanically identical with the regular Lancer Evolution’s 4B11 motor. However, TMR Team Principal Alan Heaphy says the engine tune is a solid compromise between outright power, driveability and reliability.

how much more does it cost? I mean, being mechanically stock, the tune research and testing is spread out over the number of special edition cars they sell, but really what they are selling is the warranty.
They should think about doing that for North America, There isn't much more than that (336 hp) on the stock components anyhow and it would be nice to have factory support on something around 340 hp.

Opting for the TMR Bathurst Edition Lancer Evolution will add another $8250 to the cost of a Lancer Evolution, bringing the base retail price to $68,440 for the manual and $74,440 for the twin-clutch.
Pretty nice.. but I thought Mitsu's big no-no was messing with ECU. Do all the FQ's have re-mapped ECUs as well?
Oh, and how in the hell does Oz get a 5-year warranty on a performance edition, when we're stuck with only 3 on the standard models??

The FQ's are 360/400bhp. They absolutely have a different tune than the 300 we have here in the US or even overseas if that's what you are asking.

Gotcha, thanks! Just wasn't sure if the 30, 60, 100 HP increases on the FQ line-up were due to their bolt-ons or in addition to an ECU change, since the added power is rated as an increase of HP at the fly, and not at the wheels (probably a 60AWHP increase on the FQ-400, I'm guessing).
