Saw this over on the X only forum... nice read to go along with the pics... definitely gives you an idea of how large of an operation a real race team is... and how difficult it is to find funding to be successful.
They are all X RS models, so you wouldn't have got one anyway :• )
There was an agreement with Mitsubishi apparently , that If they were allowed to bulk purchase the large quantity they ended up with, the cars would never be allowed to be sold and registered for road use ( as in , members of the public using them for road cars ) only for competition use, track/rally. Registered for road use only so rally cars can be driven between stages,and recce cars.
There are only around 16 X Rs's legally registered for road use in the UK at the moment :-)

There's probably only a handful of dealerships worldwide that even have that many Evos in one spot.
