Stupid question
Perhaps this is a dumb question, but on the HUD, there is the mpg/ avg speed selection. There is also a gauge type deal as well. What does this measure? It seems to only move when I take my foot off the pedal.

That is instantaneous fuel MPGs, hence the reason it reacts directly to your foot on the gas pedal. It's in the owner's manual, that little booklet in the glovebox
