Hey Guys,

Let me first start off by saying that I have put a lot of money into this car, so even if I don't drive it, I'm not going to sell it. However, I'm 27 and wondering if people my age feel the same way I do.

Whenever I drive this car, I get people staring at me and thinking it's a teenager driving it. When they see me (6' 8") they think wtf am I doing driving a car like that!?!?!?! Are people in the same boat as me? Is it me? I mean I like the Evo, but is the sound of a loud exhuast on a 4 door to "old" for me? I'm sure there are people out there that think the same way I do.

I'm 34 and JUST bought my Evo X 3 weeks ago. I don't give a crap what anyone thinks. I bought the car for ME, not anyone else.

My wife, who is almost 40 LOVES the car and actually encouraged me to trade in my special ordered 2009 WRX for it. She loved that car to.

I often wonder if I'm "too old", but age is more of a state of mind. My wife calls this my "mid-life crisis" car. She is also encouraging me to mod it a bit.

So again, if you feel happy and comfortable driving it, who gives a hoot what others think?

I'm 26, will be 27 soon. And around 6'10'' and I don't give a flying F*** what anyone thinks. It's my car, I LOVE driving it. I loved my 8, I loved my 9, I love my X. It's my car.
