I would really like to see him on the road, but again He has a "ralliart hatch!!" . He's scaring with those $50 universal muffler..

lol you guys think you have it bad, people really have no idea what a RA is. If they don't know anything about cars, they think it is a regular lancer, if they know a bit about cars they think its an evo... I gave up trying to explain it after the first two months. The worst is when people say.... "you could have gotten a 3 series instead?!?!" ...people just dont get it

I know!!! people keep telling me that i should have gotten a bmw instead for the price of what i am paying for my evo. People dont get it, I didn't get the bmw because its not what i wanted and I dont buy cars just to satisfy what they want, I waited for the evo since it was a concept car and really like how it looks. I bought it because I WANTED IT SO BAD!!!!! as for the kid with the RA hatch, good thing i have not seen him on the road...

Ugh because of that stupid kid everyone's gonna think RA drivers are idiots the other day i was parked at this gas station and this guy parks next to me in his 05 impreza and asks me what i got. so i tell him thats its a ralliart, and he goes on about how lancers suck? then he says to me while hes about to walk in the gas station, ya sti's are better. I say back to him, well...ya they are cause i don't compete with sti's, thats the evo's job and he replies ya well they're still better, and i ask him if he's driving an sti and he goes no. so i say back to him ya i can say a lamborghini is better than an evo but the difference is i don't own one so i usually dont go around saying they're better than everything else. Just kinda walks away after that haha. I just wish more people knew about evo's, then we wouldnt have to go explaining to everyone how amazing they are

 

lol @ ralliart hatch. Next time you see him, ask him how long it takes him to drive his kids to soccer practice.

 

Geez, I always love stories such as this. We've all had the 'ricer" flyby on a highway too. Some kid in a 93 civic cx hatch got next to me and my gf the other day, came flying up from behind. Does the 5th-4th-3rd with the ricer exhaust then proceeds to floor it and creep away slowly at 60mph. I started to roll into the throttle but just decided I'd let the kid have his day for "killing an evo". Next time he won't be as fortunate.

@JohnMercury - I get that all the time. We have such a large gung-ho STi/wrx federation here. They literally stalk the evo around my house. I was DDing a friend at 3am on a tuesday and one tailgated me the whole way then did a flyby when I was turning. Im thinking "Do you kids every freaking go to work or sleep?! Its 3am!!!!!" License plate? "Rspct It". Nice, tool.

 

It's cause so many of the Subie owners are immature and have nothing better to do with their lives. We all know of the infamous Mitsu-Subie rivalry, but lately it looks like the Subie owners are the only ones who are still being juvenile and continuing their side of the rivalry. I don't recall reading about any sort of Subie hate here on the forums, and it seems that overall us Mitsu owners have acknowledged the rivalry and merely just let it go like the mature people that we expect ourselves to be.

We don't go out picking fights with subies and looking for races, and yet it always seems like they're trying to uphold the "beef" with us.

 

Lol, I only seem to get flyby's and overly aggressive passing from the Outbacks.. it's highly amusing. The WRX/STi drivers seem to be a little more reserved for some reason.
