Have to say Bye for now

Well, It was a great run for the last 6 years, from the EVO VIII to the X, i skipped the IX. but my Blue X is for sale. I jumped into a nice used MB E55. still love my EVO but cant keep both for now. maybe when my son can drive I will snag another one for him but thats a few years away. I will miss the great Handling and sweet brakes, but this E55 is a monster on the street. 5.5 liter supercharged putting out 500+ torque at 2600 rpm, very strong. I dont get to cut to many twisties her in TX .. mostly big flat land with a few curves. I will check in from time to time to see whats up but I will be digging in over there for Mod info like a did here. watch out for those E class AMGs. For Sale info is listed in the For Sale Section.

Sorry Mod .

Kleeman or Renntech pulley upgrade, headers, ecu tune and you're 500 hp/tq at the wheels in your E55, and mid 10's - but not much handling prowess...

actually for 80% of its handling seems to be right with EVO. its the last 20% where it falls off , and the steering input is definitely heavier but you can straight the corners with the right foot when needed. just a better DD for now. I can appreciate each cars attributes.

You know, I noticed something. I see posts like this all the time of people moving on to other cars, which is fine and all. But I can't remember the last time I actually read one of these without shaking my head in confusion.
You never hear someone go, "Well everyone, I decided to trade in the Evo for a 911 GT3". Or, "Hey everyone, i'm selling my Evo to get myself a new M3". You know...something superior, but in the same category of cars.

Well no promotion, just a good deal on a used car in great shape. I wish I could keep it but have to many vehicles and this is my daily Driver , performance with 4 doors. small kids and all. this is beast for daily street use. more torque than a train and 0-60 in mid 4 secs on rear wheels only, 1/4 mile 12.2 stock and fair handling for a sedan. its not laser sharp like the my EVO but I dont get to cut corners driving to work every day. mostly a few red lights and this think will Roast. If I didnt have the shot at the MB E55 I wouldnt be selling the EVO but once you drive the E55 you will freak. I know if I upgrade my turbo and drop another 4 grand in the EVO it would be with the E55. but this is more cost not less. I have other Projects that are strip only and setup for handling at the Road course.

Very nice car, it's amazing how the MB don't hold their value, almost pulled the trigger on an SL55 a couple years back for an awesome price.

Congrats with the new car and stay out of trouble with it.

Its the cost of maintenance if they are out of warranty , you have to be rich to cont to own one. , I am lucky still has some extended warranty for a time an I will cont extended warranty , but great car other wise.
