Is that the one under the dash on the harness next to your left foot? If so, I tried and it doesn't work.

That's what I'm waiting for. I'm hoping we'll see some aftermarket projectors in the $300 to $500 range make their way to the market. We've already got one company which put some out for about $1000, but they have the stupid Audi style LEDs and BMW style halos.

Yah I saw those, pretty weak. I'm surprised they didn't try and stuff a Disco ball in there as well.

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
Ill throw this wrench in:

And a vendor here. I just ordered both driving and fog kits for my Focus. No, it does not have a projector. Yes, I live in the woods. Not worried about the other drivers at night. Most of the time I am running with my brights in NH. Deer everywhere. More so than where I lived in MI.

I agree with that statement 100%, but unfortunately that option isn't available in Canada.

Up here you have the choice of either a base GSR or a MR, and I chose the manual tranny, Which means that I had to drop cad $1500 for those SSS headlights and live with having them on all the time...

Pete, any update on this from your friend at Mitsu?

I have been looking for a way around it, the wiring is the same so thats not the problem. I had the Mitsu MUTT tool hooked up to my car and there is an option in there to switch the car from NON-HID to HID but its locked and we couldnt do anything about it.

I have a friend looking into this who works for Mitsu and hopefully we can come up with a reasonable solution to make this work.

If you plan to put HIDs into your base-model GSR expect the same problem, youll have to run with your lights on all the time. I would rather switch to a brighter bulb then go with an aftermarket HID kit.
