Buying an EVO and getting it shipped

Didn't really know what section to put this in. Can anyone recommend a reliable car shipping company that they have personally used before? There seems to be quite a few of them and I want one that will make sure the car get's here without a scratch.

Thanks

Maybe call South Coast and see who they use? They ship Evos all the time.

I will be buying from a private seller and not a dealer.

http://www.reliable-carriers.com/ - These would be the guys that I would use to ship Porsches, and if necessary, I would rely on them to ship my EVO.

+1 for Reliable Carriers. When I worked at a car dealer years ago we used to use them all the time for expensive vehicles being shipped.

FedEX will do it too. I used DAS for the skyline, they drug a cable across the wing

I used South Coast and Dependable Auto Shippers. The car came, but it was delayed cause the lady didn't charge my credit card. Once I got that resolved I was able to track my car as it was in transit from California to Texas. Then one morning a guy showed up with my car and there was nothing wrong with it.

I hope this isn't one of those scams where the seller states he's out of the country and after he gets the money he will ship the car to you.

Thanks for the recommendations guys. I actually don't even know which evo I'm buying yet, it will probably be from someone on this forum. I saw a few I really like but they are nowhere near me.

DAS (Dependable Auto Shippers) is one of the cheapest companies but they are not very good. Most cars will be fine, but like someone posted above, they don't seem to take care of their cars while in transit. They are more of a low-end shipping company.

Worst part was, I watched the dude do it. Scraped the paint off my wing with the winch cable
they were cheap and on time tho...

have you thought about flying somewhere and driving it back? I went to another state for mine and drove it back about 300 miles
