Windshield Washer Nozzle Adjustment?

Does anyone know if the washer spray nozzles in the hood are adjustable? Mine seem to spray in the lower half of the windshield, and if I could angle them up a bit it would help.

I googled the matter and the common theme (not Mitsu/Evo specific) is using a pin or paperclip to move the nozzle, but ours looks more like a flathead opening. I didn't touch it for fear of snapping something off.

Anyone?

bump.. im in the same boat... its almost like i have to time it perfectly so that the washer fluid spreads upward instead of being blocked by the wipers

i stuck a safety pin in the nozzles on my VIII and using the pin for leverage point them in the proper direction, they were shooting over the roof.. the X's are probably about the same

BUMP to this old thread.
I am having a similar issue. The nozzle on the passenger side keeps popping up, I push it in and it keeps coming up, making the nozzle spray all over the side. I will be taking the inner lining of the hood apart soon to see if there is a solution.
Anyone else with this problem?

I use to stick a piece of fiberglass under the nozzle on my VIII. Even the most minute angle variance can change the spray trajectory by a lot.
