Windshield Washer Nozzle Adjustment?

Does anyone know if the washer spray nozzles in the hood are adjustable? Mine seem to spray in the lower half of the windshield, and if I could angle them up a bit it would help.

I googled the matter and the common theme (not Mitsu/Evo specific) is using a pin or paperclip to move the nozzle, but ours looks more like a flathead opening. I didn't touch it for fear of snapping something off.

Anyone?

BUMP to this old thread.
I am having a similar issue. The nozzle on the passenger side keeps popping up, I push it in and it keeps coming up, making the nozzle spray all over the side. I will be taking the inner lining of the hood apart soon to see if there is a solution.
Anyone else with this problem?

I use to stick a piece of fiberglass under the nozzle on my VIII. Even the most minute angle variance can change the spray trajectory by a lot.
