2008 Evo X

I was really planning on buying a 2006 ev9 rs and building a drag car but my local dealer still has a new 2008 evo x for $25,679 the original sticker price was $37,679. I know its 2 years old so i'm wondering if its worth it for that price?

Thanks,

how many miles does it have? it's kind of hard to gauge w/o knowing the mileage.

it's not bad if the mileage is say around 10k...

I'm not sure what options it has. The dealers website sucks and I haven't had a chance to go look at it. All I know is that its red. Its still listed as a brand new car at the dealer so I'm assuming it has very low miles.

buy it and use it on a road course. it would be a total waste to buy an EVO X that FINALLY gets SAYC, then use it as a damn drag car.

sounds like a good deal but has the potential to be an awesome one if you could tell what options it has. dont say the dealership cuz for sure someone will grab it if you take your time.

Wow, I think that's a great deal, even with no options, the car is brand new! I'm not sure how the factory warranty works, but I'm sure you could ask them to begin coverage upon sale date if it isn't already...

The warranty starts when a vehicle is titled.

If you don't mind my asking what dealership is it in TX?

Its a great deal. I made the mistake once about posting up a great deal on a forum. Went to the dealer the next day and a guy from the forum had gone in and bought it because of my post. This was a while back when I was in the market for an 03 Cobra. If you like the car I would buy it. X's are selling for that much used. I bought my car the same way. 08 that had been sitting on the lot for two years. Dealer sold it to me for $27,000 and I could not be happier. To get an idea of what kind of deal this really is, go look at what used ones are going for. Then run down and buy it.

considering you really wanted a drag car, the 9 would be a much better buy for you

being a new car just means it hasnt been sold to anyone. i saw an 8 that the owner of the lot was driving and beat the **** out of it. had 4.5k miles on it and was sold as a brand new car. they have had it for 2 years im sure a few salesman, test drivers and lot boys have beat it. have a reputable mechanic check it out before you make a 26k + mistake.
