I usually do not ask but HELP....

I cannot get this damn fitting to go back in... I do not know why it refuses to...

The clip is already in place, when I try to put back in the other line with the oring.. the piece of poo goes in a little and then will not snap into place..

I am trying to search online for solutions, but I do not even know what the clip or fitting is called.....

Stranded ATM......

Try prying the clip open when inserting the fitting. Maybe that will give you enough clearance to snap that SOB in there.

The clip is designed to hold the fitting in place not to flex to allow for easier installation.

yeh... but in saying that the male connector has a tapered leading edge which seems to indicate you can push the line in without removing the clip..

maybe rogue was just getting it caught...

either way removing the clip (if you can) should work!

been there done that. I created this tread after trying all that. I justed walked a mile and half to go get an oring since I damaged it...

Funny thing is that I had another connection like this that went in just fine..... It is the little things like this make you feel like a complete idiot when you can't get them to cooperate. blah.. going back outside now.
