If it's just yourself I would but anybody else in the passenger seat I'm little worried about. My wife gets car sick and complains her butt hurts everytime we go on a road trip. But tHen again if it's just you and your not worried about gas, I say take it!

Just got back from a road trip in the EVO and I would not have wanted to take any other car. I was really surprised at how comfortable it was after a eleven hour drive. Gas mileage was not terrible either. I was getting about 26-27 mpg cruising at about 75 mph. Almost as good as the Saab that was with us.

You've answered your own question here. These were your responses to the guys who said take it. If your worried about your miles, don't take it. Take the Acura. Drive the RDX on your road trip. Done deal. Straight line or not so what. Let the Evo sit at home, promise you'll miss it and wish you had it.

Now... if you do take the Evo, which I would personally do... make sure you get the oil changed before you leave, get new tires if you need them, and make sure all maintenance is up to date. Also make sure you've completed all recalls. Last thing you want is an issue during your road trip. Have extra cash for another tire if you get a blowout on the way, you don't want to drive on the donut for too long, in fact, I'd take it out for extra storage space (IMO).

Be Safe on your road trip

Not putting miles on your Evo is like not having sex with your Girl Friend so she'll be more desirable to her next Boy Friend.

Find the curviest, twistiest roads between A and B. Then take the Evo, and be happy!

Dude, I can't stand driving anything else but my evo. The worst is when you see a bunch of ricers on the freeway, acting a fool, and ur stuck watching them in your mini-van!
