a little throttle

Quick question for you pros out there. I'm beginning to transition my method of driving from resting my heel on the floor (while letting my ankle do the clutch action) only from a dead stop to.... using my whole foot. I guess you can say I'm getting used to the whole biting point all over again. My question is it ok to give some throttle just before hitting the biting point on both flat surfaces and inclines? I haven't quite gotten used to it and I think if I do this enough I will eventually pick it up. Let me know! Thanks!

and heel pivoting motion (only for starting from stop) vs using your whole left leg?
