My suggestion is to get the Evo with 100 miles on it. You can score a better deal on the car, and since its new, the warranty is still new if you encounter any problems. Not to mention, you can be driving it today!

Just to confirm this is a 2010 model we are talking about right? If it's a 2008 I would order a 2010 for sure. If it's a 2010 honestly I would take a thorough look around the car but 100 miles really isn't that much and if you can get them to knock off even a few hundres dollars you have money towards your first mods. However it's your money so don't do anything you aren't completely comfortable about.

I had a chance to get an X in Oct 08 that was the dealer's son's "demo" car which had several hundred miles on it. They said I could get it for "hundreds" lower than the brand new cars on the lot. Since the car was supposedly broken in, they told me to let 'er rip on a test drive. Who knows what that car had been through. I tried to get a used car price on that one but they wouldn't budge. Thanks but no thanks.

Anyway I waited a couple months and got a brand new car with 16 miles for less than my offer on the demo. I just can't spend big moneys on something I'm not completely comfortable with. "Rare Car" my ***, Evos aren't flying off dealers lots. Try to get your ordered car for the same price as the 100 miler. If they refuse, just walk and try again at the end of the month. Dealers smell blood when a buyer gets emotional or impatient.

Good Luck.

Then they will stomp you with interest and so on so forth with the : "i cant do anything, this is a best we can do, its a bank , not us..." kind of BS.

They are just scam bags. Period.

They have a big room to wiggle with APR and they will not let you off the hook. If you go under invoce then you can expect a not great APR.

Also never negotiate on monthly payment. Focus on the APR and dont get any thing you do not need. Like the window marks against theft... These are just simply BS things to pull money of you. You do NOT need them. Just like the Low Jack.

The "Evo IX is better" and rebuttals has been moved here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...merge-172.html

This is not the topic of this thread, so please use the other thread if you want to compare the IX to X.

Hate in the other thread all you want, keep this one clean.

100 miles is nothing! no matter how hard they drove it these cars are strong! I dont see a dealership letting people launch a car. Yea im sure they went hard 1st 2nd gear but thats about it

had to order mine and im in Canada! they ordered from japan, took 3 weeks for me to get it. But it had already been ordered to quebec previous. So not sure how long they actually had to wait. This is for a MRT tho. Much harder to get. Only 2 of my colour in canada apparently in mrt anyways

worth the wait. I would wait 3 months and get your baby with under 10 miles on the odo. Ur paying that much, i really expect to see 1km or 1 mile on it nothing more.

just to reemphasize..

get the color you want first - unless it was horribly beaten the miles won't matter later, and you won't find yourself seriously considering getting the car painted or traded for the color you want like i do from time to time lol

I say if car history and peace of mind is important to you wait the 3 months for a new Evo X. Besides the new car smell will last you longer too this way

I'd wait the 3 months if I cared about color, like you. You may not get exactly the options that you want on a car that's on the lot, anyway.

That being said, I bought my car 'new' with 150miles on it. They don't let anyone test drive Evos so it was obviously their staff driving it.
