The TSB was any car made before Nov Xth 2009 so if your car was made after that you should be good. I have a 2010 with paper work showing the dealership took delivery in October so I still have the black one.

If you want to save cash buy an '08. Just my 2 cents.
Yeah, and then end up like me, suing mitsubishi because they can't figure out how to fix the damn car.

BUY NEW!

Definitely consider private sale. You are almost guaranteed to get more money that way. The only thing is tho... it can take some time to do. Luckily when I bought my EVO X I only had both cars for a week.

Sorry that you didn't figure that out before buying. If it is any consolation then many of us have made very expensive mistakes while upgrading our cars. If you are careful then you could make out as well as we did once all costs are factored in. Be careful and good luck.

The 09 WRXs are pretty quick..actually not a bad little car but the Evo does have more potential. Do admit I like the looks of the new widebody WRX/STI sedans coming out.

When you say going back to the Evo...does this mean that you once had an evo? If so, I'm curious to know which so i can tell you the differences with the X.
