Bought a X this morning.
Ask the dealer to make sure that the latest factory ROM is on it. I've heard that the newer factory ROMs are not quite as rich and will idle better. I had hard starting issues and all kinds of stuff on the stock tune...it really sucked.
After a few hours of haggling, bought a Tarmac Black '08 GSR. I pick up the car Monday afternoon, they are detailing, getting a tint and new tires.
The car has relatively low miles, and as far as I can tell still stock. Other than having to shuttle my wife to work, since we got rid of the automatic, she will be driving it most of the time, when she gets use to driving a 5spd.
Probably, won't be getting a tune for awhile, while this car is still under its factory warranty and since its her DD it will have to be very dependable, unless otherwise stated. If a tune can be had without sacrificing the warranty I am all ears. It is pretty quick in stock form and more than adequate for her, my IX has been demoted to grocery getting, picking up the kids from school, etc. and it still sits modless as well

Only other option is to get bolt-ons that your dealership is okay with. Get an opensource tune and reflash it to stock before going in to the dealership for anything. Even that is a dishonest way of doing it depending on where you stand on the "ethics meter".

The numbers are growing...
