X owners that moved up from RA
I don't know if this is the right section but are there any X owners here that upgraded from an 09+ RA? Just wondering because I might be doing just that very soon. Thanks!
if you mod your RA right with all the AMS stuff (FMIC, UICP, CAI, Turboback, Tune), it will make much more power to the wheels than a stock X. After those mods, you're looking at close to 300-320 WHP, versus the stock Evo X,which is anywhere between 220-250 WHP, depending on the dyno.
Even with the mods, the RA would still be slightly cheaper than a new X, and you'd have one hell of a sleeper RA... if that's even possible.

I agree with Yshen if you're looking at it from a cheaper way to make power alternative. But it'd be near impossible to get a Ralliart to handle like an X. With the power of the RA, getting more than the ~320 whp is hard to do on the stock turbo. Doing an X turbo swap can run pretty pricey as well.
