Aero kit / no aero kit?

I'm going to buy a 2010 evo x MR here pretty soon. Not the MR touring, but just the MR. I had a question though: what exactly does the aero kit look like? Or is this just a typo and is only available on the GSR? I'd like to see the difference between the MR with it and without it. I tried the search feature but couldn't find anything. Or is this only something available on the '08? I couldn't find that option on mitsubishi's build & price, but I see it on motortrend when you find avg. price of what people paid and on some dealer sites as well.

People say that it helps keep rocks down and helps prevent paint chiping. I don't have the areo kit and have had no paint problems. Its mostly a stylistic vs. cost. If you want to pay the extra 2k for some side skirts and a front lip go for it.

Have it, love it! Makes the car look really nice.

Do the 2010's have the option for the AeroKit?

I have 'em on my '08 MR and love the kit, especially the front lip where aftermarket pieces look like they extend the front end too much (imo).

If you are going to track/auto-x I would skip the aero kit, this will allow you to drop a bit more without clipping the front on your aero kit. Save your money and get an aftermarket splitter and side skirts.

The new side skirts on the 2010's looks pretty damn good in my opinion, even without the aero kit. I would personally just buy one without an aero kit and just slap on a nice front splitter.

I don't think any of you are really answering my question. I have read contradictory things about if it's even offered on the 2010 or not. There is no aero pkg on mitsu's website or anything of that nature. There are addon "options" like the airdam and other things, but I don't see ANY difference with their pictures. If someone can fill me in that'd be awesome.

Calm down. On Mitsubishi Motors website, they do not list it as the Aero Kit package, but the options are there, front air dam, side skirts, and rear corner air dams, all listed under options. So yes you can get it if you want. Most dealerships are going to package the brake air guides, front air dam, rear corner air dam, and side skirts together.

I never liked how the aero frames off the "black hole" in the front bumper. I like the look of the huge black hole continuing down to the ground. It looks particularly out of place on white, I think.

dpavlakos91's lip is an interesting solution because it's black.
