I've undoubtedly been bit too many times buying a car only to find out they are plagued with problems...

I'm interested in buying a brand new gsr, (wouldnt automatically pass on the MR, but I am familliar with manuals, never driven the paddle shifting jobbies...)

Are there any areas that are prone to major problems?

Is the transmission a weak link? Will the car hold up to a modest amount of tuning? Did crank walk ever make it to the motor in this car?

I appreciate everyones time, I didnt really know what to search for.... and first few pages of the evo x forums, didnt see many problem threads.
